Cross country ran last night in Glenburn and despite being really cold, did a great job! Copeland T (12th) and Addy C (14th) both placed in the top 20 for our girls team! But our girls have shown SO much improvement over the whole season! Charles L. (9th) brought home a top 10 finish!! So proud of all of you and your continued hard work!
Second grade has been working hard to build their reading stamina! Yesterday all of the students read silently for 20 minutes! The students are so excited to have met their goal!!
8th grade's Coastal Maine Popcorn Fundraiser has started! Bags are $7 and the flavors are chocolate caramel & sea salt, Boothbay Harbor mix, Maine blueberry pancake, caramel, white cheddar, Maine maple, dill pickle and grilled cheeseburger.

Pawsitive Choices Week is coming soon! This year students will be encouraged to participate in Pawsitive Choices Bingo with their family! Bingo forms will be coming home soon to get started. Spend the month of October focusing on important conversations about positive choices for your student. Don't forget to turn in your bingo card by October 30th to be entered for a prize! Students will also enjoy theme days the week of October 26th to bring awareness to the choices we can make to prevent negative life situations. The boys played a great game last night at Holbrook. They identified gaps and made great passes up the field, walking away with 5 goals from Jaxson and Teyton. Conner played his first whole game in goal and made some amazing saves. All the boys have made great improvements and are looking forward to their last game next week against Glenburn.
The girls lost another soccer battle last night at Holbrook. Even though they were able to keep the ball on their opponents’ side for most of the game, they couldn’t quite get past their defense. Anya C. showed amazing defensive efforts keeping them from scoring several times. The ladies have one more home game next week. Let’s finish strong Wildcats!
Cross country had a great meet last night at Bangor Christian School! All of our runners took home a ribbon and ran their hearts out! Charles took home 19th for the boys! For the girls: Emma placed 22nd, Maddie placed 21st, MJ placed 19th, Addy took 13th and Copeland brought home 12th for our girls team! Our girls team placed 3rd overall!! Great job Wildcats! So proud of your continued hard work and dedication!

The boys team played hard against Caravel last night. They played well and had fun, despite a loss. Shout out to mid-field who played well helping on defense and getting the ball to our strikers. Great work boys, keep your heads up!
The girls suffered another loss last night at home vs Caravel. However, they played much better this time. They put up a good fight in the first half only being down 1-0. In the 2nd half, they were edged out even more ending with a score of 4-0. However, great passes were made and the team was more unified! Proud of your efforts and enthusiastic energy ladies. Great job!
Cross country competed at the invitational in Orrington last night. Despite not feeling their best, and competing against large teams we showed up and did great work! Addy took home the ribbon for 24th and Copeland took home the 22nd place ribbon! The team overall pushed through some challenges and did great! Keep up the good work Wildcats! Get some much deserved rest!

Due to the increasingly colder weather we made the decision to turn on our boiler system this morning. After some time, staff noticed a smell and immediately removed students and alerted administration. The administration turned off the boilers and called the Milford fire department who checked the air quality and gave us the all clear soon after. Staff and students have since resumed their regularly scheduled day.
We take all reports seriously here at the Dr. Lewis Libby School to ensure everyone's safety and appreciate your continued support.
