Kindergarten’s Annual Holiday Ice cream party!
Pre-K enjoyed going on a hunt for their letters today! We visited Mrs. Thorton, Ms. Clark, Mrs. Trimm and Mrs. Lindemann! "Gingy" our gingerbread friend gave us clues that led us to finding our letters! After working as a team, we sorted our alphabet and unlocked our surprise: gingerbread cookies! It was a fun morning filled with lots of giggles!
4th grade has been working on electrical circuits in science. We learned about what is a circuit, what is a good conductor and how batteries work. Today we used that knowledge to create paper helicopters with lights using copper tape, LED light bulbs, a battery and the helicopter template. Once we got them working, we dropped them off the catwalk. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sOkAHFRDs27R1GgDQ0wR56XdBHvvStq2/view?usp=drivesdk

School will be open tomorrow (12/20/23) to provide a warm and safe place for our students. We have power, a warm place to learn, and a good meal for all students. Be safe and be well.
Due to anticipated extended power outage, significant storm debris, and flooding along roads, making travel difficult, we will cancel school tomorrow, Tuesday, December 19th. Stay Safe.
Due to power issues and increased winds, we will be dismissing at 12:30 today.
