The 7th and 8th graders had a great time kayaking the Penobscot River yesterday. They learned the basics of paddling and then paddled upstream to a great swimming spot. They saw lots of wildlife and had tons of fun in the water!
Middle School Field Day will be on Thursday, June 11th. Please be prepared to get wet and be outside all day with sunscreen and bug spray applied before coming to school, and bring extra clothes, shoes, and extra water to stay hydrated.
The breakfast for Thursday, June 11th, has changed to waffles, yogurt, fruit & juice.
Don't forget that tomorrow is field day for PreK to 4th grade! Make sure to pack extra clothing and shoes, they will get wet! Please apply sunscreen and bug spray before school. It will be a fun day!
8th grade is on their way to Canobie Lake Park today!
6th graders spent the year learning about their state of Maine! For an end of the year project they were given options for projects about Maine! They made some awesome board games, dioramas and videos about their state! They learned a lot this year and it shows!!
Back to school will be here before we know it! If your student is in need of a new backpack for the fall please send an email to amcdunnah@milfordsd.org. We have many generously donated backpacks to get in the hands of students.
Today we welcomed our Wildcat Alum back to Lewis Libby to march the halls! We are so proud of all of you and wish you the very best in the future! Remember once a Wildcat always a Wildcat! Congratulations Class of 2026! We know you will make the world a better place!
The sixth grade had an amazing visit to the Brookfield facility yesterday! Students learned about the different fish species in our area of the Penobscot River, observed the fish lift in action, and had the chance to touch some fish! Some students also saw salmon which was an extra special treat! Thank you to Mr. Dill and the other staff that made this an awesome experience for our students. We appreciate your kindness.
Today 5th graders held their annual Famous American Wax Museum! They did an amazing job and really brought their Americans to life!!!

The END OF YEAR AWARDS ASSEMBLY will be held on FRIDAY, JUNE 12th in the gym starting at 8:30 a.m. Awards will be given for perfect attendance, Ms. Esther's classroom awards, poem publishing awards in PreK, 8th grade spring track recognition, art awards, honor roll pins, student council awards, most improved student awards and the Bate Award.
The Wildcat baseball season came to an end yesterday with a 10-0 play off loss to Bangor Christian. Hold your heads high boys and congratulations on a great season!
