Phew, it has been a fun filled week! For our 10 day countdown Mrs. Estes class had a camping day where we did all our work in our campsites. We also wrote campfire stories to share while eating s'mores in a cup! On Wednesday we brought our stuffies to school and then had a big first grade dance party, Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Curtis even joined the fun! Thursday we went on 2 virtual field trips, one to learn about the Kilauea volcano in Hawaii and another to the Great Barrier Reef! We ended the week with Game day, where we played games and completed a 300 piece puzzle as a team! We are excited for what next week holds!

Sixth grade had an amazing day of learning and fun! Thank you to Mrs. Reinzo and the staff at Nanny’s for the delicious ice cream! After that treat we walked to the Milford Dam where Mr. Dill talked to us about fish species in the river and demonstrated how the fish lift works. We had so much fun catching and holding fish. It was a great day!  Thank you to all who helped make this day possible. We appreciate it!!

8th graders have been working through a forensic science unit. We have learned about latent prints and impressions left behind in crime scenes. Last week, we learned how bite marks can identify victims and/or suspects. We worked with different materials to see what the best material was for bite marks! We also used matchbox cars to make tire impressions and match them to impressions taken at a "crime scene".
