The Lady Wildcats put up a good fight against Holbrook last night on their home field, but unfortunately, they still came out on the losing end, 5-2. Tiffani S. had a great game, saving way more balls than letting them by. Paisley M. had both goals for the Wildcats.
Cross country had a great meet last night at Bangor Christian. With a small meet all of our girls were able to bring home a ribbon! With a larger boys group, we had 2 top 20 finishers, Stephen M. and Sydnee O.! Shout out to all of our runners for their continued hard work and dedication! Go Wildcats!

The Lady Wildcats played against some tough opponents in Glenburn last night, losing 10-0. Eliana M. had some amazing defense.
The boys faced a tough match against Glenburn, falling 12–1. Despite the challenging score, the team showed determination and kept working hard throughout the game. Landon M. scored the lone goal for Milford.
Eighth grade students are learning how to measure liquids in science class using graduated cylinders. Today they combined specific amounts of liquid to make the colors of the rainbow. They learned how important precise measurements are in science.
Today we welcomed four UMaine Men’s hockey players to our Student of the Month assembly. Thank you to Owen Fowler, Thomas Pichette, Oskar Komarov, and Max Scott for taking the time to hang out with us. In addition to playing some hockey with us, they spoke about their hockey journey from the age of 4 to their college years. They were even brave enough to answer some questions We had a blast! Go Blue!
Today's soccer games at Caravel have been rescheduled to October 9th. There will be no soccer practice today either.

Cross country had our invitational meet yesterday against teams we have not competed against this season. We pushed through some nerves and held strong. We had 4 top 25 finishers. Stephen M and Syndee O took home ribbons on the boys side and Gwen O and Copeland T took home ribbons for the girls side. In one of our biggest races of the season, the girl placed 5th and the boys placed 6th overall. Great job wildcats. Next meet is Wednesday next week.
The 8th-grade science students are currently studying units of measurement in the International System of Units (SI). As part of our lesson, students practiced estimating the mass of various classroom objects and then measured the actual mass to compare their predictions. This activity helped students strengthen their understanding of accurate measurement, estimation skills, and the importance of precision in scientific data collection.
Our Lady Wildcats hosted Bangor Christian yesterday losing 10-1. Paisley M. scored our only goal, while Tiffani S. stepped up to help us out in goal. All the girls continue to show resilience and unbelievable team spirit.
The boys played a strong game in the rain yesterday afternoon, but came up short with a 6–2 loss against Bangor Christian. Landon M. scored both goals, and there was an excellent team effort all around. Great job, boys!

Fifth graders have been learning all about Matter. This week they conducted a lab where they observed all three states of matter and tested how the mass of the matter changed.
Sixth graders have been learning about rocks and minerals. This week they analyzed over 70 samples!! Students were surprised at how some look very similar and others are very unique.
The boys soccer team had their first win of the season yesterday against Bucksport. It was a great game and well played by the team! Congratulations guys on your 5-0 win!

The girls' soccer team played a hard-fought game last night at home against Bucksport. Despite their best efforts, they finished with a 9-2 loss. However, the most important takeaway was their display of great sportsmanship and leadership, never giving up until the final whistle. Kylie and Paisley each scored, and the entire team played with determination and strong teamwork.
