Fifth grade explored the Scientific Method yesterday by guessing and testing how many drops of water can fit on a penny. WOW! Students were shocked at the results!

Happy Last Day of School!
“Summer is the perfect time to explore the world through books…learn about topics of interest, escape to real and imaginary places and let your mind explore new worlds.” (Maine DOE). Once again Dr. Lewis S. Libby is participating in the Read to Ride Summer Reading Challenge. Your child is invited to read at least 500 minutes over the summer to qualify for a chance to win one of 48 bikes and helmets donated by the Maine Freemasons. By the way, we’ve had several bike winners over the past few years! Please look for the Read to Ride Passport packet coming home with your child today. This is where they record their reading minutes. The form needs to be returned to Mrs. Curtis by 9/30/25. Below is a link to the passport in case you need another one. Have a wonderful summer filled with sunshine, a bit of rain, lots of reading, lots of sunscreen, and loads of fun!

Tomorrow is PreK-4 field day! Make sure to apply sunscreen and bug spray for your student before school and pack two pairs of clothing as they will get wet! We are looking forward to a fun day!

The 8th graders managed to find a day without rain to enjoy their class trip to Canobie Lake Park on Sunday.

Second graders and 5th/6th graders celebrated the last buddy reading time of the year this afternoon. They had fun reading in the courtyard and eating popsicles!
