ESEA Dashboard

The DOE’s ESEA Dashboard can be found here: https://www.maine.gov/doe/dashboard

Notice to parents as required by the Federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act requires that all states, school districts, and schools to provide annual school assessment results to parents and communities. The report contains data about state assessments, attendance and graduation rates, and information about “highly qualified” teachers.

These Dashboard results are made available to the public by the following methods:

  1. Published on the school website.

  2. Presented to the Milford School Committee (Minutes may be obtained in the Superintendent’s Office).

  3. Sent to all households in the SAU.

Parents interested in accessing the professional qualifications of a teacher should make the request in writings to the Superintendent, Milford School Department, 13 School Street, Milford, Maine 04461.

If you observe, detect, or suspect improper use of taxpayer funds you are able to report such improper use at the following link:

The Milford School Department utilizes all assessment data to help inform our practices at the district, school, classroom and individual levels for our students.  Although we encourage students and parents to participate fully in our assessment program, it is important to note that parents/guardians may opt their child out of state testing.  If you are interested in doing so, please reach out to your child’s principal to make this request in writing.
