Dear Parents/Guardians,
With February break coming up, if you plan to travel outside of Maine, please remember that New Hampshire and Vermont are currently the only states exempt from restrictions under Governor Mill’s executive order. Due to the executive order requirements, your child will need to receive a negative COVID test or quarantine for 10 days prior to returning to school. Further information regarding travel may be found at www.maine.gov/covid19/. If you are traveling during the break, please let the school nurse know so she can help monitor the fulfillment of the requirements. The school nurse can be reached at klangley@milfordsd.org with any questions or to update your traveling plans.
Whether traveling or not over break, please continue to wear your mask when in public, maintain physical distancing (6 feet or more), and wash your hands often. These practices will support our efforts to continue in-person instruction.
I hope you and your family are able to use this school break to relax and rejuvenate. Thank you for your continued support of our school, our students, and our community. We look forward to seeing our students for in-person instruction on February 22nd.
Sincerely,
Patricia Clark, Superintendent
