- Grade 6 - Jenna Whitmore

Jenna is a kind and considerate student who treats everyone with respect. She is organized and prepared for her classes and puts her best efforts into her schoolwork. With these positive habits she is sure to reach her hopes and dreams! Congratulations, Jenna!

- Grade 7 - Haley Saucier

Haley is a terrific young lady who has started the school year with a very positive attitude. She is excited about the variety of courses she is taking this trimester and eager to share what she is learning. Haley works hard to produce high quality work and is always willing to help others. She has been a lifesaver! She often helps classmates get into their lockers. This is an example of Haley’s pleasant personality and willingness to help others. Haley has set some goals for this year and is well on her way to achieving these goals. She is an excellent role model for her peers. Keep up the great work! Congratulations, Haley!

- Grade 8 - Kendra Chappelle

Kendra is a wonderful young lady who is a joy to have in the classroom. Her subtle humor is a great addition to any classroom. Kendra has a wonderful personality and therefore is well liked by everyone at school. Kendra enjoys working with other students and always makes sure that everyone is included. She works hard and puts a lot of effort into her assignments. Kendra strives to do well and wants to achieve honor roll status this trimester. She is off to a great start and will have many successes throughout this year. Congratulations, Kendra!

- Grade 6 - Kathryn Panther

Kathryn is kind, cooperative and well liked by all of her peers. She works diligently in
and out of class. Kathryn exudes a positive attitude al all times and perseveres through any struggles she faces. Keep up the good work Kathryn!

- Grade 7 - Sarah Vaillancourt

Sarah is consistently a high achiever. She is friendly and helpful to all of her classmates. She really appreciates some quiet time to read or do her work. Sarah plays saxophone in the school band and has improved by leaps and bounds this year. She has also worked backstage for our school musicals. She’s a member of our chorus as well.

- Grade 8 - Natasha Rowlett

Natasha has a great start to her eighth grade year. She is part of the virtual algebra class and doing very well, although she loves to read and write. Natasha runs on the cross country team and will hopefully serve on the yearbook committee this year.

- Grade 6 - Zak Libby

Zak is a diligent worker who is a quiet leader in the classroom. He is goal oriented and shows our core values of respect and responsibility at all times. Zak is a model student who works in order to understand and learn, not just to collect a grade. He is well liked by his peers and teachers. Congratulations, Zak!

- Grade 7 - Maliyan Binette

Maliyan is new to our school this year. It didn’t take long for her to settle in and become a role model to her peers. She is considerate of others and willing to help when needed. Her work is always thorough going above and beyond what is required. Maliyan enjoys soccer, cheerleading and chorus as extracurricular activities. Congratulations Maliyan!

- Grade 8 - Ethan Harris

Ethan always enjoys a challenge, especially in his virtual algebra class. He takes responsibility for his education by making sure that all of his work is his best and his contributions during class are always helpful. Ethan’s passions are hockey and football outside of his academics. Keep up the good work. Congratulations, Ethan!

December

- Grade 6 - Lucas Moody

Lucas has shown large improvements this month academically and socially. Lucas has focused more on his academics by using classtime wisely and working cooperatively with classmates. He has also been a leader socially, leading by example. Lucas quietly and positively convinced a classmate to work with his small group rather than giving up on classwork. In addition, Lucas was complimented by a classmate’s parent who stated, “Lucas Moody. . . stood up for my child on the playground.”

- Grade 7 - Ashley Stoddard

Ashley is such a pleasant young lady. She always has a smile on her face and goes out of her way to help others. Ashley is a hard worker and is proud of her accomplishments. She made high honors the first trimester! Ashley is a member of the girls “B” basketball team. She can often be found helping teachers, staff and other students. She is truly a caring person. Ashley is a great role model for other students at the Libby School.

- Grade 8 - Nick Georgia

Nick has shown great improvement this year. He takes his studies very seriously. He works hard in all of his classes and always does his best. Along with his academic work, Nick was a valued member of our cross country team and is currently on our basketball team. Nick has a great personality. He is respectful and caring about others. This has earned Nick the respect of his peers and his teachers.

 

January

- Grade 6 - Ian Gerrish

Ian is a diligent worker who always comes prepared. He is a leader in and out of the classroom. Ian represents his school proudly on the basketball court and his town proudly on the football field. Ian has shown strengths in striving to make the right choices in modeling respect and responsibility. Congratulations Ian!

- Grade 7 - Khali Steele

Khali is a hard working student who takes her course work seriously. She always strives to do better and is very conscientious of her grades. Khali is very responsible in the classroom and eager to help others who are having difficulties. She quietly makes a difference at our school. Khali goes above and beyond what is asked and never expects anything in return. She is a great model for other middle school students. Keep up the outstanding work!

- Grade 8 - Courtney King

Courtney is an excellent student who strives to do her best in every class. Whether it be Math or Physical Education, Courtney can be found giving 110 percent. She works hard and wants to improve which makes her a joy to teach. Courtney is an active participant in the classroom and enjoys helping others. She has a pleasant personality which makes her a great leader in the middle school. Way to go Courtney!

- Grade 6 - Samantha Harding

Samantha is a conscientious student who works hard to complete work on time. She wisely asks questions to check her understanding of the content and the directions.Samantha is also involved with cheerleading after school, representing her school at games and tournaments. Great work Samantha; you’re an inspiration to us all!

- Grade 7 - Cameron DePaola

We are pleased to have Cameron as our seventh grade Student of the Month. Cameron takes his studies very seriously. He words hard in all his classes and tries hard to always do his best. Cameron has shown great improvement throughout this year. He enjoys helping other students and is always pleasant to all staff members. Cameron is a great role model for middle school students. Keep up the great work Cam!!

- Grade 8 - Elizabeth Bernard

Elizabeth is an outstanding student. She is consistently positive and greets everyone with a bright smile. Elizabeth is very conscientious and completes her work on time. She has the foresight to know what has to be done and jumps in to do it without being asked. Elizabeth has landed a role in this year’s spring musical production, “Honk Jr”. She plans to attend Orono High School in the fall. Keep up the good work.

 

March

– Grade 6 - Jenna Brideau

Jenna is the sixth grade student of the month. She is a bright student who is always prepared for her classes. She worked extra hard this trimester, making High Honors for her efforts! Jenna is a leader and is well-liked and respected by her peers and teachers

- Grade 7 - Tyler Gifford

Tyler is an outstanding student who works hard in all of his classes. He puts a lot of time in his work and strives to always do his best. Tyler has a great personality. He is always cheerful and willing to help others. Tyler is involved in many extracurricular activities. He is a great asset to our school and a wonderful role model.

- Grade 8 - Jamie Whitmore

Although Jaime is a very quiet student, she works hard to be sure that all of her work is completed. Her smile is contagious and present throughout the day. She is a great role model for her classmates. She loves to read books in her spare time. She has excelled at volleyball in PE class and hopes to join a volleyball team in high school.

 

April

- Grade 6 - Tylor Sumner

Tylor has worked very hard on his academics this month, staying after school for extra help and study time. Tylor plans his time carefully, making sure he is always prepared for his classes with homework, planner and textbooks in hand! Tylor is polite and respectful, often offering to help out fellow students and teachers. Tylor is a model student who leads others by his example Congratulations, Tylor!

- Grade 7 - Savannah Georgia

In recognition of her hard work, positive attitude, and commitments to both academics and extracurricular activities, it is an honor to name Savannah as the Libby School’s Student of the Month. Savannah is respected and appreciated by both students and staff for her kindness, cheerful attitude, and willingness to tackle new challenges in and out of the classroom. We wish her continued academic success and will be cheering for her on the softball field this spring. “You can steer yourself any direction you choose. And will you succeed” Yes! You will, indeed! (98 and 3/4 guaranteed). Oh! The places you’ll go!” Dr. Seuss

- Grade 8 - Brandon Crouse

Brandon is an excellent student who works hard and earns great grades. He is willing to go out of his way to help others when they need it. Brandon always has a positive attitude, making him a great role model. Brandon is an excellent drummer and participates in band. He plans to attend Old Town High School and be part of the band in the fall.

- Grade 6 - Amber Higgins Stoddard

Amber has worked hard this month to exemplify our school expectations both socially and academically. She has worked to be helpful to her peers and to follow the behavior expected in our school. Amber is a polite young lady who shows her maturity by asking questions and seeking help from her teachers. We recognize Amber for the great strides she has made to be a good citizen and good role model for others.

- Grade 7 - Sara Bickford

Sara has matured and become a lovely young lady in recent months. She cares about her grades and is willing to put in extra time to do a great job. Sara’s positive attitude and consistent smile are contagious among her peers. She is a great role model for her peers. Her extra-curricular activities in school include cheering, chorus, drama and show choir. Sara is also a swimmer for the Canoe City Swim Club. Keep up the good work Sara

- Grade 8 - Kaitlyn Cota

Kaitlyn is a very quiet individual. While paying special attention to detail, she maintains a place on the honor roll every semester. Kaitlyn always goes above and beyond the required assignment. She is most pleasant and agreeable; someone who is always willing to help others. Kaitlyn participates in chorus, soccer and basketball. Congratulations Kaitlyn and best of luck at Orono High School in the fall.
