Mrs. McDunnah organized a week of Red Ribbon activities at the Lewis Libby School. The theme for the week has been “YOLO: You Only Live Once”. Students dressed daily in ways that tied in to the theme of Red Ribbon Week. Wearing sunglasses because their futures are bright, favorite hobbies and heroic camouflage. Teachers have worked with their students to decorate classroom doors that reflect this year’s theme. They are all wonderfully done! Yesterday, Deputy Kari Kurth and Detective Sergeant Andrew Whitehouse came to talk to our students about healthy choices and their life-long impact. It has been an excellent week for students to build self-confidence and an understanding of healthy life choices.
John and Maddy present Detective Sgt. Whitehouse and Deputy Kurth with a thank-you from all of the students at Lewis Libby.
