Dr. Lewis S. Libby School 2010 Holiday Concert

Once again this year, parents and community members were treated to a fantastic Christmas Concert courtesy of Ms. Whitney and the students of the Dr. Lewis S. Libby School. Hundreds of children participated in this year's musical tribute to the holidays. Performances by individual classes were centered around a hypothetical theme of Santa Claus visiting our school in a manner similar to "The Night Before Christmas." The beginner band and middle school band did a great job presenting instrumental renditions of some favorite carols. The Show Choir sang and danced to two numbers. a highlight of the evening was the performance by the combined chorus. This powerful group of singers gave an amazing performance. We are so lukcy to have Ms. Whitney as part of our staff. She does a fabulous job preparing students for both their group and individual performances. The you to Ms. Whitney and all the performers!
