Harlem Superstars Coming on March 19, 2012

Thank you to everyone who attended the 2nd Annual Harlem Supestar fund raising event held on March 15, 2011.

A special thanks to our volunteers and local sponsors for making this event possible.

The students were left speechless as "7 Footer"  and "Super Chicken" ducked under the doorways on their way to the gymnasium to talked to the students about being good students and citizens. Inaddition the Harlem Superstars selected students and staff from the audience to participate in some playfull ball handling challenges as well as a game of "7 Footer Says". 

Later that evening many of the students watched and participated in the Harlem Superstars game against the Penobscot Dream Teamheld at the Old Town High School. This annual game with the Harlem Superstars is a fund raising event sponsored by the Chaisson Field Committee. Proceeds are used for the ongoing restoration of Chaisson Field.
