Lewis Libby School

Mission

Over the years Chaisson Field had fallen into disrepair and was unsafe for kids and community members to enjoy. The Chaission Field Committee was formed with the goal of transforming the dilapidated field into a community recreational complex that we could all be proud of, ultized and enjoyed by all Milford citizens. The Chaisson Field Committee Inc. is a non-profit organization consisting of students, parents and community members.

In 2006 members of the Chaisson Field Committee presented a multi phase Chaisson Field Restoration Plan to Town Officials. With the blessing of the Town Manager and Selectmen, the committee soon embarked in making this exciting, but challenging community effort, a reality. Phase 1 of the plan has been completed. Phase 2 construction will begin in the spring of 2009. Please visit the Chaisson Field Restoration Project link for progress updates.
