Who: Students in grades 3-4 that attend the Dr. Lewis S. Libby School.
Where: The gymnasium at the Dr. Lewis S. Libby School
When: Monday, March 1st – Friday, March 12th
Time: After school from 2:30pm – 4:00pm (Mon. – Fri.)

The Dr. Lewis S. Libby School, in conjunction with the Old Town River Coalition, is happy to announce an after school enrichment activity opportunity. Dr. Lewis S. Libby School Middle School Basketball coaches will be working with students in grades three and four on the fundamentals of basketball and provide opportunities for the students to participate in Intramural competitions.

For your child to participate, the permission slip below must be filled out and returned to the office by Friday, Feb. 29th.

Harlem Super Stars!!!!

When: Tuesday, March 16th @ 6:30 p.m.
Where: Old Town High School Gymnasium
Cost: Advanced tickets $6 or $8 at the door

The Harlem Super Stars are coming to Old Town High School to play against your very own Penobscot Dream Team featuring local students, coaches, alumni and celebrities in an evening of showtime basketball at its best. Join us for a great night of family fun, outrageous slam dunks, trick shots, comedy and tons of audience participation and fan-to-player interaction. During halftime the Harlem Super Stars will bring the kids out of the stands to participate in a contest for a chance to win a prize.

You won't want to miss the slam dunks, music, autographs, trick shots, razz a dazz passing, dancing and halftime show! This is truly an evening you and your kids will not forget!

Canada Lynx

The Dr. Lewis S. Libby School is proud to welcome a new addition to our school--a display of a mounted Canada Lynx. The Canada Lynx will be on permanent display in our lobby near the bobcat. The lynx was donated by DIFW Game Warden David Georgia. Greg Barnes, of Appalachian Taxidermy, donted his services in mounting the lynx and building a beautiful display case. Due to the incredible generosity of these two men, the Milford Wildcats can proudly claim two mascots. Please feel free to come into our lobby to see both of our wildcats. By the way, can you tell the difference between a bobcat and a lynx? When you visit, you will notice that the lynx has tufted ears, a pushed in "pug" face, large paws, long legs and a black tipped tail.
