The School Administrative Reorganization proposal was enacted June 7, 2007, with the Governor’s signature on the two-year state budget. Now begins the hard work of implementing the reorganization law. As a result of this new law, the Milford School Department, Milford School Committee, and Union 90 will be dissolved and our school will be operated by a Regional School Unit consisting of multiple towns. This new RSU is yet to be formed or named. The Milford School Committee is working closely with the Milford Reorganization Planning Committee and citizens to make this transition as seemless as possible. We encourage all citizens to refer to the School Reorganization Law Summary link. This summary of the law will explain the entire consolidation process. If you have any questions concerning the consolidation process please do not hesitate to contact the School Union 90 Superintendent, Alan Smith (827-8062). Lastly, please continue to refer to the the School Consolidation link on the Dr. Lewis S. Libby website for news and information related to school consolidation.
